The Cleveland Browns intend to seek a new head coach under each stone. The former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will however not be taken into account.
In response to an ESPN report that the Browns want to interview Rice, 64, CEO John Dorsey rejected this idea.

Rice is a football fan with a deep knowledge of the sport. In the past, the former Secretary of State expressed interest in becoming a NFL Commissioner one day, but she did not indirectly suggest that a head coach position would be what she would be interested in continuing.
After dismissing Hue Jackson, Dorsey said that Cleveland would consider all types of candidates for the position, regardless of age, sex or experience. The discussion of Rice being investigated – even though it was firmly rejected – underlines the belief that the Browns are looking to be creative when they hire their seventh head coach since 2005.
