Drake was a guest on LeBron James and Maverick Carter's "The Shop" show, aired by HBO tonight, where he talked about his recent feuds with Pusha-T and Kanye West. In this episode, Drake explains why he never chose to release another title of diss in response to the stinging title of Pusha "The Story of Adidon":

Rap purists and people who like confrontation, they like to say,
"There are no rules to this shit!" There are fucking rules to this shit.
I'll tell you something, I knew something was going to happen
about my child. They had to add the thing of the bad paying father to make it more
attractive, which is good. The mom and dad thing … it does not matter. You do not
even know my family. But wishing death to my friend with multiple sclerosis, I
study rap battles to make a living. When you talk about helpless people
who are sick at the hospital, who have died, I just think that
there is a price to pay for that. It's over! Someone will
fucking you hit in the fucking face. Shit is done, the competition
more than. I wanted to do something else. I did not want to deepen your
career by rapping to you and having this exchange.

Drake then confirmed that he had recorded a diss song in response to "The Story of Adidon", mentioning that he had said "terrible things". Maverick Carter then asked Drake, "Did you write the song and you never released it?" What Drake said: "Yes, because I came home, I got it. I listened back, and I thought, want to call back. This is not even a place where I necessarily want to go. "He also gave props to Pusha-T and" The Story of Adidon, "saying," The song, I thought it was hogwash, but it was a hell of a hit of failures. "

Elsewhere in the episode, Drake explains the origin of his relationship with Kanye. Drake says Kanye has invited the Canadian rapper to Wyoming to work on "Lift Yourself". Drake then states that Kanye has not revealed his intention to release an album. As they collaborated, Drake says that Kanye had asked him to be "completely transparent", inquiring about Drake's then-current album. Scorpio and its release date.

"I am in Wyoming. I play him on March 14th. I send him a picture of my son. I tell him that I have problems with my son's mother, "says Drake, hinting that Kanye had revealed to Pusha-T information about his son. Drake insinuates while Kanye deliberately planned his G.O.O.D. The release of a musical album within the same period as that of Drake Scorpio. Drake continues, "I wake up and all those dates are canceled. One by one by one. All around June 15th. Watch the excerpts of the episode below.

Pusha lit up his beef with Drake on his Daytona follow "Infrared" by making fun of previous allegations that Drake used ghosts. Drake then responded with "Duppy Freestyle", on which he was targeting both Pusha and Kanye. Since the release of "The Story of Adidon," Drake has issued a statement explaining the cover that presents a photo of the Canadian rapper in blackface, without however intensifying the rivalry with another title diss.

Scorpio and the later free style of Drake's "Behind Barz" include what many listeners think is veiled fire on Ye. During a storm on Twitter in September, Kanye apologized to Drake. He assumed responsibility for "negative energy" and clarified his role in the Pusha-T beef.
