Drew Barrymore spoke about drug abuse among his children in a new interview on Netflix's "Norm Macdonald Has a Show".

Drew Barrymore talks about his drug abuse in children.
On Friday, Netflix's "Norm Macdonald Has a Show" aired an episode starring Barrymore, 43, and, according to People magazine, in his interview, host Norm Macdonald asked her if she ran out of cocaine.
"No. Oh my God, it's been a very long time, but no," said Barrymore, who has already talked about her addiction, which began when the actress was 12 years old.
She added, "Nothing would make me panic and would seem like a bigger nightmare."
Barrymore also added that she "has never done hallucinogenesis," saying "it's like a bucket of water flowing into your face for hours."
"I drink, I love my life and I get out of my head," Barrymore continued. "It's not that I'm this activist of clarity and presence but [cocaine] seems literally my worst nightmare right now. "
At the age of 7, Barrymore became famous after his role in Steven Spielberg's film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" (1982).
Looking at his childhood star age, Barrymore said it was "like a recipe for disaster".
"You know what's exciting? I've finished with 14 years, "admitted Barrymore. "Like, midlife crisis, institutionalized, blacklist, no family. It's done. And then went into the cycle of being my own parent. "
Despite his troubled past, Barrymore continued to play in a handful of movies including "Never Been Kissed" and "Charlie's Angels". With her acting career, Barrymore has two daughters – Olive, age 5 and Frankie, age 4 – with her ex-husband Will Kopelman.
