A drone was sighted about 15 miles northeast of Logan International Airport in Boston by the crew of a Delta Air Lines flight on Wednesday. The globe of Boston reports.

According to a press release, the state police was informed by a radar control center of the report at around 11:30.
The unmanned aerial vehicle appeared to fly over a boat, the police said. The plane was flying at about 3,000 feet and the drone was at an altitude lower than about 300 feet.
"There was no contact between the plane and the drone," police said.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident, according to the newspaper. World.
