SANILAC COUNTY – The Sanilac County DEA Drug Take Back Day participation in the health care of patients and patients.
The sheriff 's office drop off received a total of 27 pounds. A total pickup collection since the last April drive showed.
The collection result in Peck was not yet available.
Since April 2018, the task force, combined with other police agencies in the county, has collected a total of 173.4 pounds of unused opioid and other pill form medications.
The task force will continue to collect unwanted pills year round. There are drop off boxes located at the Sheriff's office lobby, Croswell Police Hall lobby, Marlette Police Hall lobby, and the Peck Police Village lobby.
