Fans were forcibly evicted from a Dua Lipa concert by local security personnel in Shanghai on Wednesday, the BBC reports. After the incident, the singer posted a message on Instagram saying that she was "horrified by what happened".
Social media images show that security personnel violently fire a member of the public from his seat. A fan who was at the concert with his daughter told the BBC that security was chasing listeners "just to get up." a headlock. According to the BBC, some fans believe that security has reacted with violence after listeners waved flags showing their support for LGBTQ rights.

Dua Lipa noticed the fights while she was playing and addressed them from The scene. "I want us all to dance, I want us all to sing, I want us to have a good time," she told the crowd. "I'd love in those last songs that we really had a lot of fun. And for that?
She later posted a message on Instagram expressing her solidarity with her fans. "I'm proud and grateful that you feel safe enough to show your pride in my show," Dua Lipa wrote. "What you did takes a lot of courage. I always want my music to bring strength, hope and unity. I was horrified by what happened and I send love to all my involved fans. I would love to come back for my fans when the time comes and, hopefully, see a room filled with rainbows.
Dua Lipa is currently touring China.
