Dunkin 'Donuts announced the end of its popular "Pats Win, You Win" promotion on Monday morning after many Patriots fans spoke on Twitter to express their disappointment at having to pay the full price of coffee.

"We apologize that this offer is not available this year," said Dunkin 'Boston in a tweet to a customer.

The promotion, which began in 2015, initially distributed free medium coffees after victories, but established a Rob Gronkowski-inspired award in 2016.

Ollie Taylor called Dunkin 'decision to throw "pathetic" promotion.

"Do not punish us for the fact that the The patriots are incredible and win all the time, "he said in a tweet. "Sad!"

The news comes after a recent drive to an Attleboro Dunkin 'Donuts has left Patriote fans wondering if the coffee chain was playing some sort of weird joke after this past Super Bowl.

A couple was served a Dunkin iced tea in a cup bearing the logo of the Philadelphia Eagles.

"I watched it and saw the Eagles' logo, and I went, is that kind of a sick joke." I am, "what is it?" I shook my head said Patti Panzer, whose husband picked her up in iced tea and brought her in an Eagles cup.

Dunkin 'apologized for the mix and said they were taking steps to make sure all the local stores had the right goblets.
