The New England Patriots won their first win of the season against the Houston Texans Sunday, but many coffee-loving fans woke up Monday morning.
The reason? Dunkin & # 39; Donuts apparently ended a promotion that offered 87 cents coffee to members of the company's loyalty program the day after the Patriots' victory.
Dissatisfied fans took social media to complain.
"We apologize that the Patriots offer is not available this year.Take advantage of our Sip.Peel promotion.Gain up to October for the chance to instantly win prizes," replied the channel at many Twitter users.
This is not the first time that Dunkin has angered fans of New England in recent weeks. Earlier this month, Massachusetts customers said they received their coffee in cups bearing the Philadelphia Eagles logo.
Here's what social media thought of Dunkin's decision to end his 87-cent promotion:
"Dunkin" Donuts did not report his coffee promotion of 87 cents the next day #Patriots win for the 2018 season. You can not blame them for the @ Patriots continues to win. "
"Dunkin Donuts no longer deals with the Patriots? We won but no promo 🙁 #DDPerks #NEPATRIOTS"
"When you go to Dunkin" after a Patriots win hoping for an 87 ¢ coffee and you have to pay $ 2.60. "
