Dwight Howard has a "serious interest" in joining Warriors

Dwight Howard is an All-Star, three-time winner of the Defensive Player of the Year, and has been named All-NBA First Team five times. And he is ready to become a free agent.

Howard, 32, has not yet signed a withdrawal contract with the Brooklyn Nets, but he thinks he'll soon be a free agent. Where will he land next? He would have his eyes on the champions.

According to USA Today's Sam Amick, Howard has "a serious interest in the Warriors". The question is: are the Warriors of interest to him? Several reporters have suggested that back-to-back champions do not see Howard as an adjustment.

In 2017-18, Howard played 81 games with the Hornets and averaged 16.6 points, 12.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game. Charlotte traded Howard in Brooklyn on June 20 against Timofey Mozgov, in cash, a second-round pick in 2018 and a second-round pick in 2021.

During his 14-year career, Howard averaged 17.4 points, 12.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game. The free agency starts on Saturday evening at 21:00. PT.
