"That means Joe and Jenna and Juan Pablo and Cheryl have been eliminated," Bergeron said of Di Pace, 39, and Bachelor in Paradise alab Amabile being sent home.

The elimination of Di Pace caused a shock wave throughout the ballroom, as the audience shouted loudly and the judges rose in disbelief.
"It's shock, though," said Bergeron. "There is no way out."
Co-host Erin Andrews also noted the judges' astonishment – "Look at their faces!" Andrews said – before Goodman talks about the elimination of Di Pace.

Although Di Pace will not be competing in next week's final, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the series, including dancing with pro partner Cheryl Burke.
"I love so much dancing," said Di Pace, "and at least I have to do it in front of millions of people with this beautiful girl."
"We have to make incredible numbers and it's incredible in itself," he told reporters after his elimination. "It's a dance show and we had to dance our socks."
