The firefighters of Minnesota were impressed Tuesday by an eagle – the ultimate symbol of American patriotism – perched on a memorial of September 11.

The Fire Department of Coon Rapids, a town located about 15 miles north of Minneapolis, has installed its aerial ladder from a fire truck on a bridge along Highway 10 to take part in an anniversary tribute.

The eagle landed on one of the antennas after the fire department installed it and stayed in place for less than a minute.

Yet Andover Fire Chief Jerry Streich captured the patriotic moment in a live Facebook feed and told KARE TV that the bird had positioned itself around a moment in time. national silence.

"There is no better symbol to represent America today than a flag but for an eagle landing on a fire truck holding a flag," said Andover Fire Chief, Jerry Streich.

Steich said it was the 17th annual memorial of September 11, and that after watching the bird a few times, he thought that he should capture the moment.

"There is no better symbol to represent America today than a flag – but for an eagle to land on a fire truck holding a flag," said the fire chief. "I mean, it does not get much more symbolic than that."
