Eddie Murphy hired for long-time girlfriend, Paige Butcher

Eddie Murphy will soon say "I'm doing".

The 57-year-old actor and his pregnant girlfriend, Paige Butcher, are officially engaged, Murphy's representative confirms to ET. The good news comes after the beautiful 39-year-old blonde was seen wearing a big diamond ring at the wedding ring in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Butcher was all smiles as cameras took her with iced coffee in hand and a brilliant diamond on the other. People was the first to report the commitment.

Murphy and Butcher have been together since 2012. The couple is already the father of his 2-year-old daughter, Izzy.

In addition to planning a wedding, Murphy and Butcher are also waiting for the arrival of another package of joy. Last month, Murphy's representative confirmed to ET that the couple are expecting their second child together. It would be Murphy's 10th child.

the Shrek star is father of eight other children from four previous relationships. The actor set his sights on paternity in an interview with ET in 2016, jokingly saying that while his eldest was almost 30, his adult children were "grown up" and not "old".

"None of my children are gray and bald," he said, before explaining how he raised children in the last three decades. "It's just natural, it's a natural thing."

"My kids are the brightest part of my life," Murphy added.
