Here is the QB Hot Sheet of this week:
Five to watch this weekend
1. Drew Brees, Saints: In Monday night's game against the Redskins, Brees is almost certain to make history. He needed 99 yards to double Brett Favre to second in the all-time list and 201 to eclipse Peyton Manning (71,940) for first place. has a contact-interception ratio of 8: 0.
2. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs: Mahomes, who took the lead in the race for the top step of the podium, has just cleared a deficit of 10 points in the Broncos. Yet his most difficult test is waiting. In what should be an exciting match, Mahomes (still without and interception while he paces the NFL with 14 touchdown passes) to deal with an aggressive defense of the Jaguars leading the league in defense against the passes ( 164.2 yards per game).

In a confrontation with the Texans in prime time, the Cowboys will likely need their first wide receiver to have more than 53 yards, a result of Cole Beasley last week.
5. Baker Mayfield, Browns: His receivers did not settle his record with several declines, but Mayfield still had an early career losing against the Raiders. This is no easier with the Ravens 'stingy defensemen who frustrated the Steelers' move to the city.

Three rising trend
1. Mitchell Trubisky, Bears: Coach Matt Nagy opened the mind with great creativity and Trubisky took the opportunity to dramatically improve the precision of his ball with a depth of 354 yards and a touchdown of six touchdowns against the Buccaneers. The Bears have their farewell, but the sophomore quarterback will have to prove, at a 6 week time against the Dolphins, that he can support those advances.
2. Joe Flacco, Ravens: In good health this season and armed with a strengthened receivers body creating more opportunities, Flacco is about to reach career highs in yards (1,252), touchdowns (eight) and the QB ranking (96.9). After splitting the Steelers Sunday night, Baltimore is tied for the first time in AFC North at 3-1.
3. Andy Dalton, Bengals: Another team tied in the Baltimore division, the Bengals receive a huge boost from Dalton. With the emergence of recipient Tyler Boyd, Cincy has a reliable target to pair with A.J. Green. Dalton (author of 29 of 41 for 337 yards, three touchdowns and an interception against the Falcons) has a team battling injuries and defensive fouls.
Three declining trends
1. Eli Manning, the giants: He missed open targets – especially receiver Odell Beckham Jr. – and seemed to hesitate in almost clean pockets. Rather than checking it out – he averaged 6.2 yards per attempt when defeated against the Saints – it might be time to take chances on the pitch.
2. Ryan Fitzpatrick, the buccaneers: Well, #FitzMagic was fun as long as it lasted. Precision and neglect with the ball in a loss to the Bears ended Fitzpatrick's stint as a starter with the Bucs. Jameis Winston will start the 6th week after Tampa's departure.
3. Keenum case, Broncos: Tied in second place in the NFL with six interceptions, Keenum – who played seven last season – does not seem to be the solution for Denver. A failure for Demaryius Thomas, very open on the right-hand side, on what should have been the starting scoring at the last minute, sums up his time with the Broncos so far.
Season classification
1. Patrick Mahomes (last week: 1), leaders: When Mahomes, a right-handed man, completes left-handed passes on a winning road down the road while Greenbacks Miller's linebacker for Broncos pursues him, you know things are going well.
2. Brees (2): The Saints' hasty match led the charge in a win against the Giants, but Brees is holding on.
