The biggest mystery of the night is not where all the Emmys who should have gone "Atlanta" went, but if it was really Donald Glover as Teddy Perkins in the audience.

Teddy Perkins is a white character from an episode of Atlanta represented by Donald Glover in the prosthetic composition, which has led many media to quickly declare that the comedian was disguised as a character during the broadcast. Perkins could be seen kissing him Bill Hader after his victory for the best actor in a comedy series, beating the winner of last year … Donald Glover.

"Teddy Perkins" is based on traumatized star children due to a wink at the weird and tragic life of Michael Jackson. It is dark and surreal and scary and quite brilliant. But seeing Teddy Perkins at the Emmys was even more disturbing than his episode.
