End credits "Venom": is there a post-credit scene?

V enom has attracted a lot of attention because of its principle of body horror and its star cast consisting of Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Rice Ahmed and Jenny Slate. As with most superhero superproductions nowadays, however, fans might be wondering if Venom has a post-credit scene.

Does Venom have a bonus scene after the credits?

Yes. In fact, Sony Pictures, who released the film, insisted on including two different post-credit scenes to create a potential sequel. Be warned that there will be spoilers for the main plot of Venom and his characters below!

The first scene takes place midway through the closing credits and introduces Woody Harrelson as prisoner Cletus Kasady. Hardy's titular hero Eddie Brock arrives in San Quentin to interrogate Kasady, where he sees that the killer has left a sign "WELCOME EDDIE" hanging in his cell. Kasady then looks directly at Brock and says, "When I get out of here, and I will, there will be … carnage."

The first scene presents a nasty venom popular

It's a not-so-subtle nod to the character of Carnage, which Kasady becomes in the aftermath of the fusion with an extraterrestrial symbiont in comics. He is a longtime opponent of Venom. Harrelson confirmed that he would appear in Venom Earlier this year, and told Collider that his meeting with director Ruben Fleischer, with whom he had been working for 2009 Zombieland, was a big reason why.

"Fleischer did Zombieland, directed it, so it's a big part of it, "he explained. "And also, Tom Hardy, I really respect and think he's one of the big players. So, in addition to what is a really wonderful scenario, I thought I should do it, you know? The Oscar nominee also blurted out that he was going to appear in Venom 2 as primary antagonist. The second scene teases another movie Wonder

The second scene occurs after the ending credits and adopts a vaguer narrative approach. Rather than tease the future of Eddie Brock or the characters featured in the live-action movie, the scene reviews the next animated film Spider-Man: in the Spider-Verse. We see Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) chasing the evil Prowler. He is also shown visiting the grave of Peter Parker, the original Spider-Man.

Morales then sees an older Parker, who knocks him unconscious. He wakes up and discovers that Parker has harassed him before knocking him down. They are stuck together while the police come to chase them. This comes on the heels of the second trailer for In the spider wormIn an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Moore explained how his version of Spider-Man differs from the ones we've seen before.
