Eric Decker denies rumors that he cheated on his wife Jessie James Decker

Eric Decker will not defend anyone who challenges his loyalty.

On Wednesday, the footballer closed the rumors that he cheated on his wife Jessie James Decker on Twitter.

In response to a tweet deleted since then, accusing the 31-year-old's infidelity, Eric wrote, "Sorry, ma'am, the only club I've been to The Mickey Mouse Club House! (This is a children's program for non-parents).

"Make sure your friends check their facts," he wrote.

according to Entertainment tonight, the tweet in question reads as follows: "I know people who are friends with girls with whom he has been / have seen in clubs with girls who are not Jessie."

Eric and Jessie married in 2013. They share three children together: their daughter Vivianne Rose, 4, and their sons Eric Jr., 3, and Forrest, 6 months.

While Jessie did not respond to Twitter rumors, she clearly explained what would happen if Eric walked away.

"Sometimes I like to send photos to Eric with little reminders of what would happen if he ever cheated," wrote the 30-year-old country star on Instagram nearly 2 years ago. "I hope everyone has a good day."

Aside from teasing, Jessie has already set her sights on the strength of her bond with her husband, telling people in September 2017 that they "grew up together … beautifully."

"We love each other and we always have it and it keeps getting stronger," said Jessie. "I think we are very good parents together – I could not have chosen a better partner to have children. We are so well together and in addition to being together, we are both still madly in love with each other and we really enjoy each other's company.

To keep the romance in their relationship, Jessie said she intended to flirt with Eric.

"In addition to being very attracted to each other, I think they have the feeling of flirting with each other and keeping this spice alive," shared Jessie with PEOPLE. Meanwhile, Eric and Jessie will have ample time to train and go out with parties now that he left the NFL after an eight-season career.

The athlete announced his retirement on August 26 after playing for the Denver Broncos, the New York Jets and the Tennessee Titans and signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots.
