UCF does not convince that its football program did not win the national championship last season.
And now, ESPN believes it too.
At the UCF match against FAU on Friday night, ESPN showed a chart showing the quarterback hailing from Hawaii Tua Tagovailoa and the knights signal the caller McKenzie Milton, who clashed on the islands as high school students.
At the bottom of the chart, ESPN claims that the Alabama College Playoff National Championship last fall is considered a "claimed" ring, while UCF's undefeated season crowned with a win over Auburn at Chick-Fil-A Bowl was the national title.

The last beef between the programs initiated by the Worldwide Leader is perhaps the strangest blow of the rivalry.
