An aircraft operated by JetBlue was surrounded by a large police presence on Tuesday night near the JFK airport runway in New York before being able to take off for a scheduled flight to Los Angeles due to a problem of ## 147 ## 39, radio equipment reported.
The flight was scheduled to take off from New York at 7:30 pm, but the incident was reported only after 8 pm, according to Port Authority authorities and the FAA.
"The JetBlue 1623, an Airbus A320, experienced a problem of radio equipment by taxing its departure at John F. Kennedy International Airport tonight at 8 pm. The crew asked to return to the ramp. , the FAA said.
All clear was given around 9:05 pm by the port authority.
The flights continued to take off and land at the airport.
