Ex-White House aide details Trump's "Team Of Vipers" in book "We were ruthless"

Another revealing book describing the explosion of President Donald Trump's White House presence is about to be published – this time by a former communications desk associate.

Vipers team, due to be published in late January and written by former White House Communications Strategy Director Cliff Sims, describes the chaotic internal functioning of the Trump Presidency.

According to the New York Times, Sims, who previously worked for Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, recorded a significant seven-figure lead from Thomas Dunne Books, a print of St. Martin's Press.

An author's note written by Sims and obtained by the Times compares "this weird era of history" to "the pages of a Dickens novel."

"Lincoln had his team of rivals. Trump had his team of vipers, "writes Sims. "We served. We fought. We brought our ego. We brought our personal diaries and vendettas. We were ruthless. And I guess some of us were good people. "

"I was there," he added. "That's what I saw. And, unlike the many leaks at the White House, I've put my name on it.

Vipers team follows the publication of several other revealing books by former Trump associates, including Omarosa Manigault Newman and George Papadopoulos. Veteran journalists Bob Woodward and Michael Wolff have also published books detailing a circus of stabbing and tumult in the Trump presidency.

Trump has denied reports that his White House would be in turmoil during an interview with Chris Wallace of Fox News, broadcast on Sunday, calling the accounts "false news."

"The White House works like a well-oiled machine," said the president. "It is very good. I have great people. I will make some changes, but not many. "

The White House did not immediately respond to HuffPost's request for the upcoming Sims book.
