EVERETT, Washington – Commercial flights from Paine Field are getting closer to the status of an FAA report where no new terminals have been started.

The study evaluated the environmental impact of 24 scheduled daily commercial flights for the new terminal.

Airlines from Alaska, the United States and the Southwest will fly from Paine Field to western cities, using quieter planes.

A public hearing is scheduled for November 2, while the 30,000-square-foot terminal is expected to be completed next month.

The new terminal will have two doors, as well as a valet service, a terminal that looks more like a lounge and a design that can bring passengers from the front door of the terminal to the front door. a jet in less than ten minutes.

The company building the new terminal, Propeller Airports, estimates that the new terminal will bring 200 to 300 direct jobs and 3,000 indirect jobs in the region.
