Facebook hack: people are furious

[ad_1]

Facebook announced Friday that 30 million users were affected by massive piracy made public two weeks ago.

The reactions on the Internet have been extremely negative.

Some may not believe that this week alone, Facebook has launched its home hardware product, Portal, which is equipped with a camera and a microphone.

The hashtag #deletefacebook has been a trend since the Cambridge Analytica scandal in March, but for some, Friday's news was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Others point out that Messenger Kids, his children's chat application, was challenged to not be affected by hacking, raising questions about why we should put children at risk of ending up on Facebook.

Some are just looking for excuses.

And with such hacking, some are calling for Zuckerberg to be finally fired for his long series of scandals – though, given that Zuckerberg holds a controlling voting interest in the company, this is extremely unlikely.

Here are other reactions to the announcement of Friday.
