(Reuters) – Facebook Inc (FB.ONick Clegg, former British Deputy Prime Minister, has been appointed head of the international relations and communications team within the social network, the Financial Times reported on Friday.

Clegg, 51, will move to Silicon Valley in January to succeed Elliot Schrage, the report said.
Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
