The Atlanta Falcons are like Mike Smith's old steroid teams. Their defense, literally (and not figuratively), can not stop anyone, while the offense seems totally unstoppable. The halftime score for this match was 28-24, and the Falcons missed an early scoring opportunity.
Unfortunately, we have seen what the Falcons would be facing against any good attack: totally unable to stop them. They will have the Steelers next week, which is going to be another tough game, and they do not seem to have the staff or the discipline to get things done. The offensive can accumulate tons of points, but will that suffice?
For the third quarter, we had an overview of the alternative. The Falcons have largely stalled at the attack, turning the opportunities into just three points, but the Bengals were left out by a suddenly aggressive Falcons defense that got two sacks and a timely choice. The fourth quarter was marked by a more aggressive defense and the resumption of the offensive as the team took a five-point lead, partially wiped out by a goal that would certainly have been worse if Takk had not destroyed Andy Dalton .
But in the end, the defense was not enough, the theme of this young season. The Bengals have recovered the ball with a lot of time and a deficit of five points. They then cleared the clock and overcame poor games (with a boost from the referee for thought was a sling bag) to enter the end zone. The Falcons' offense has done almost everything in their power to win this victory, but at some point the defense will have to give them less than 30 points to win games. At 1-3 and in bad shape, it's starting to be very bad for Atlanta.

First quarter
Marvin Hall kicked us off by sending the shot back almost in the middle of the field. The Falcons won quickly after a short race from Tevin Coleman, a pass to Calvin Ridley and a third and Coleman conversion where he climbed eight yards. Coleman collected eight more in his next two races, before Julio Jones got a nice third decision for another first. Then Ryan hit Justin Hardy for four yards to slip into the ten, and Ito Smith opened the scoring to seven yards for his first career touchdown.
Falcons 7 – Bengals 0
The next start was with a return from Bengals 35 yards and eight yards in two games. Vic Beasley was injured in the second. The defense quickly collapsed, the Bengals having amassed 30+, 10+, and then converted a fairly easy touch pass to Tyler Eifert to catch up.
Falcons 7 – Bengals 7
A nice return from Marvin Hall partially erased by the Bruce Carter outfit supported the Falcons. Fortunately, Ryan was getting by, finding Julio Jones for 24 and Tevin Coleman for 15 to move Atlanta forward significantly. Unfortunately, they could not maintain the momentum, eventually finding themselves near the midfield in the third run (Calvin Ridley could not quite get the ball) and the attacker in fourth position, to then see Matt Ryan knocked over for a turnaround.
Vic Beasley, recently returned, has committed a violation of the neutral zone for the Bengals. Then they trained in a first descent, mainly by directing Giovani Bernard. The Bengals appeared to be in a difficult position in 3rd and 6th place in the no man's land, but then asked Giovani Bernard to take a 17-meter recovery to bring them back into the red zone. An eight-yard run over Bernard was followed by a 10-yard touchdown run by Bernard as the defense continued to escalate.

Second district
No chance for a good return from Hall on the next, and Coleman took over six to start things. This technically happened in the first quarter but huh. Coleman was the big winner early in the game, getting some great litters and a seven-yard pass on a Matt Ryan pass. Then Ryan hit Mohamed Sanu and Julio Jones for double-digit gains on back-to-back games, bringing the Falcons back to 31. Then Ito Smith scored 14 on two staves and Ryan found a very open Logan Paulsen for a touchdown. fasten things.

The Bengals embarrassed Atlanta with a 24-yard recovery on a short pass to rookie back Mark Walton, followed shortly after by a 12-yard recovery by Tyler Eifert. Unfortunately, they left Cincinnati with a ton of time. The Bengals had very little trouble moving the ball, with the exception of a tackle for the defeat of Deadrin Senat, with a pair of penalties on the Falcons' defensive back, which made matters worse. Third quarter
Things took a gruesome start as Tyler Eifert's ankle found himself in the wrong direction during the second half-time game, which put him out of action. The Falcons, unfortunately, have again taken revenge on the offensive, with an uncertain gap and some rickety and shaky games ending the training. I summarized it briefly because I was too disappointed to do otherwise.
The Bengals, close to midfield, have amassed seven yards on a Giovani Bernard race. The Falcons led them to 3rd and 17th places thanks to a quick penalty, but a costly mistake by Brian Poole (penalty of unnecessary brutality) allowed another first run. But then, the wonderful Damontae Kazee took over from Andy Dalton, turning a discouraging drive into a business figure. Kazee and Cincy were awarded compensatory penalties, which led the team to start their next round at 46.
The Falcons received a nine-meter penalty kick from Ito Smith due to a penalty from Alex Mack, followed immediately by a bag and a forced fumble for Matt Ryan, cleared by a pass call. A short Ito Smith ran later and it was the fourth quarter.
Fourth trimester

Ryan and Sanu could not connect first, Ito Smith took three, and Julio Jones raised 15 to convert. First, Brandon Fusco will commit his second penalty of the match, supporting the ten-meter Falcons, and they could not move forward. Matt Bryant's throw-in was blocked, but the Bengals were out of balance and the second try was successful.
Hawks 36 – Bengals 31
The Bengals had ample time to drive and, predictably, they began to do so against a tired Falcons defense. They spent midfield through Tyler Boyd's fine passes, some good runs and an Andy Dalton 11-yard pass, but just in approach, Vic Beasley had a huge bag and was removed the balloon … but it was reviewed.
