INVOICES, Mont. (AP) – A missing North Dakota family in southeast Montana died in an accident with a vehicle on Interstate 94 during Thanksgiving.
The Montana Highway Patrol stated that the accident site was discovered around 8 pm. Friday after the investigators rang their cell phones.
Carter County Sheriff Neil Kittelmann told the Billings Gazette Saturday that the victims were Anthony and Chelsi Dean, both 25 years old, from the Grand Forks area of North Dakota, and their daughters, Kaytlin. , 5 years old, and Avri, 20 months old.
The patrol said that their Toyota 4Runner had left the interurban highway near Huntley around 7 am Thursday and had crossed the median before taking off from an embankment. The SUV struck a concrete bridge support pillar and was immobilized at Pryor Creek.
The deans visited family members in Caldwell, Idaho, and traveled to Ekalaka, Montana. They contacted their family for the last time at 6:30 am Thursday in Billings.
