President Donald Trump has become a staple for comedians across the country, but some Red Bank comedy fans have not done so on Thursday.
Actor Wanda Sykes was heckled and some fans even left after opening the set at the Count Basie Theater with jokes about Trump, according to a report from The Asbury Park Press.
Sykes would have opened the show by mocking the way the United Nations made fun of Trump when he boasted about his achievements earlier this week. She then joked that although they are typically presidents who are aging during their tenure, the public has aged more quickly during Trump's presidency.

Her answer: "What are you waiting for? I am a black lesbian."

Shortly after the show started, one participant shouted "Play comedy!" and another said "too political!"
Sykes, who has always been critical of Trump, paused and asked what they expected to see at his show before continuing with the comedy.
Participants told APA that they thought a rowdy and his group had been abducted by theater staff, while others said they had left home because they thought it was unfair to let the rowdy go. The dispute then broke out in the theater lobby when participants and staff began to argue, with some customers demanding reimbursements.
