The & # 39; Veon Bell did not show up at the Pittsburgh Steelers facilities and is no longer eligible to play in the NFL until the 2019 season.
If Bell had returned, it would have been against the imposing James Conner. The former Pittsburgh Panther has already managed six weeks of the fantastic top 10 this season and has outstripped Todd Gurley II and Alvin Kamara in fantasy points in the half-defenseman position. Conner was responsible for 78% of team-designed analyzes and 14% of goals. This is not very far from Bell's 81% and 19% brands, respectively, when he was active last season. Conner totals an average of 4.70 yards per race (1.94 YAC) on 164 runs and 9.8 receiving yards (YPR) on 38 shots.

He played so well that he probably would have kept a major role, but we have already seen this story.
In 2015, Bell had missed 10 regular season games and DeAngelo Williams was nothing short of an elite for him. Williams paced all points in touchdowns (11) and fantastic points (207), while averaging 4.6 YPC and 9.3 YPR over the period. While Bell was suspended for weeks 1-3 of the 2016 season, Williams was the second scorer of fantasy even though he was not as effective. Nevertheless, every time Bell returned, he was clearly eliminated and Williams remained with leftovers.
This is not serious this time. Conner will retain an important role in the Pittsburgh backfield and will remain an upscale RB1 until the end. Rookie Jaylen Samuels is handcuffed, although Stevan Ridley would also be associated if Conner ran out of time.
As for Bell, he will be looking for greener pastures during the free competition period of 2019. Bell surveyed all the demisors in shots, road, gate and touchdown and finished second in goals, scrimmages and fantasy points in 2017. He finished in the top four in the fantasy standings per game each of the previous four seasons. His versatility and efficiency have made him one of the best offensive weapons in the league.
This is the long way to say that Bell is likely to return to the top of the fantastic ranks in 2019. Obviously, hold on in the leagues of dynasties and guardians. As for the long leagues of the season, the deadline has passed and this dreaded day has arrived: you can now officially send Bell to the waiver service.
