Preview of the week 11

I'm torn on what to recommend Ryan Fitzpatrick this week. That's what Tampa Bay head coach Dirk Koetter should be. It's a bit like torture.

Do you start or sit Fitzpatrick?

Fantasy owners have at least better options than Jameis Winston, but Koetter is stuck. He plays with Fitzpatrick during the 11th week at the Giants, and I hope the quarterback will play well.

I would not be surprised if he did it. He scored at least 22 Fantasy points five of the seven times he played this season. He spent at least 402 yards in four of those games. He had several touchdowns in five of those outings.

But he also has three games with at least two interceptions. And he will face a Giants defense this week that has allowed just one touchdown in each of the last three games against Matt Ryan, Alex Smith and Nick Mullens. But it's really not about giants.

If Fitzpatrick is careless with the ball, he could be sidelined in Winston's favor. That's the real concern here. Koetter needs to win to save his job, and you have to wonder if his orders are to keep Winston on the bench because of the commercial side of the NFL.

You see, if Winston is injured, the Buccaneers owe him nearly $ 21 million next season. But is it important for Koetter in the heat of the moment?

We will find out. And that's a concern for Fantasy owners.

So let's just say, start Fitzpatrick if you have to. He could easily have a good game. Or he could be seated at half-time. I would prefer Eli Manning, Marcus Mariota and potentially Dak Prescott this week because of their clashes.

Will we see Fitzmagic or Fitztragic at the 11th week? I am tortured while waiting to see what happens.

Editor's Note: Projections are provided by CBS Sports and not by Jamey Eisenberg. The projected points concern PPR leagues.

Beginning of the week

Although James Conner is being announced as the best free-agent of the season in most leagues – thankfully, the saga The Vein Bell is over – do not forget the impact that Phillip Lindsay has had in 2018.

He was a star. And he should have another quality outing in the 11th week at the Chargers.

Lindsay scored at least 10 PPR points in all but one games, this week being the third week in Baltimore when he was sent off for punching. He has either a total of 84 yards or a touchdown in six of the seven games that he has played in all four quarters.

This week he is recovering Royce Freeman (ankle) after an ankle injury in the last two games, but that should not matter much. In six complete games with Freeman, Lindsay still managed to get 13.6 PPR points this year.

The Chargers' defense against the race has been tough this season, but eight halfbacks totaled 90 yards or a touchdown. And they have just lost linebacker Denzel Perryman (knee) for the season, which will have an impact, although Joey Bosa is expected to debut this season on Sunday.

You should trust Lindsay as a starter in all the leagues, and he's a top 15 for me, no matter the format. Do not worry about Freeman's return, Lindsay remains the dominant backfield in Denver.

His sub-season will continue in the 11th week.

I'm starting Lindsay again: Dalvin Cook (at CHI), Tevin Coleman (against DAL), Marlon Mack (against TEN), Adrian Peterson (against HOU), Chris Carson (against GB)

Strategist

Sleepers

  • Eli Manning (vs. TB): Manning finished Week 10 in San Francisco with 188 quality performances and 188 touchdowns and three touchdowns, which should help Fantasy owners to trust him in the 11th week match against Tampa Bay. most Fantasy points are at opposite quarters this season. Only two quarters have failed at least 24 Fantasy points against the Buccaneers this season, which were Nick Foles in Week 2 and Alex Smith in Week 10. Manning is one of the best streaming options in the quarter this week.
  • Marcus Mariota (at IND): Mariota appears quite behind the elbow injury that caused her numbness when she started handing up earlier this year. He scored 26 Fantasy points in consecutive games in Dallas in Week 9 and against New England in Week 10. This is a production that you can buy for week 11 against the Colts. He has run at least 21 yards in four straight games and has played three games this season, scoring at least five Fantasy points with his legs. And the Colts allowed five of the opposing quarters to score at least 21 Fantasy points before this week.
  • Dak Prescott (ATL): Prescott starts the 11th week with at least 21 Fantasy points in three of his last four games, with a minimum of 18 points for that period. After a slow start, Prescott begins to look like a reliable quarterback of Fantasy, especially in the deeper leagues. This week, Prescott will play a great game against the Falcons, which allow the second most Fantasy points to be opposed to the opposing quarters this year. Only one quarterback failed to score at least 21 Fantasy points against Atlanta this year. It was Smith during Week 9 while he totaled 18 points. Prescott, like Manning, is among the best streaming quarterbacks of Week 11.

Bust alert

Trubisky has been on a tear lately and he looks like a notable candidate in his second year campaign. He starts the 11th week with at least 25 Fantasy points in five of his last six games, but this should be his toughest test ever. While he took advantage of defenses such as Tampa Bay, Miami, New England, the Jets and Detroit during his winning streak – his only bad performance was nine points Fantasy at Buffalo in Week 9 – He should fight the Vikings. Minnesota only averages 18.6 Fantasy points in the quarter-finals, and only three-quarters (Josh Allen, Goff and Wentz) scored more than 13 Fantasy points. Trubisky is still useful in the two-quarter leagues, but I do not consider it a # 1 option this week.

Running backs

Sleepers

  • Doug Martin and Jalen Richard (ARI): Martin has played well since replacing injured Marshawn Lynch in the eighth week. In three games against Indianapolis, San Francisco and the Chargers, he has two games with at least 89 yards total. It has not yet hit the goal, but it may be a good flex option this week against the Cardinals, who allow the third most Fantasy points to be paid out this year. Richard is also worth using in PPR since he has at least 10 points in four of his last five games.
  • Theo Riddick (vs. CAR): He's almost more of a receiver than a running back these days. In two games since Golden Tate was traded to Philadelphia, Riddick captured 13 catches for 96 yards on 15 targets and scored at least 10 PPR points in every game of that period against Minnesota and Chicago, with no postponement. With Marvin Jones (knee) injured, Riddick could see a rise in targets. It's a flexible option in all leagues this week, especially in PPR.
  • Peyton Barber (NYG): Barber has only played two games this season with double-digit points in PPR points, and it's risky to trust anything other than a flex option. But he has a huge game against the Giants this week. In two games without defensive tackle Damon Harrison, the Giants allowed Adrian Peterson and Matt Breida to each win over 130 yards and score two touchdowns each. It is unlikely that Barber will reach this ceiling, but it has the potential to get a solid floor. And I hope that he will be able to find the goal zone for the third time this year.
  • Mike Davis (vs. GB): Even with Chris Carson (hip) expected to return this week after missing the 10th week and the emergence of Rashaad Penny, I still love Davis in PPR. He has scored 14 goals for 11 assists, 67 yards and one touchdown in his last two games, and he has scored at least 11 PPR points with his points total on each outing. Scopes are likely to be limited because of Carson and Penny, but if Seattle is looking for points against Green Bay, look for Davis to be heavily involved in the passing game.
  • Derrick Henry (at IND): While Lewis did a good job as a homecoming for the Titans, Henry has done a good job of finding the goal zone in recent weeks. In his last three games, Henry has scored four touchdowns in just 29 runs for 118 yards. He even managed four receptions during this period. It's risky to trust since he's touched to the touchdown, but it's worth being used as a flexible option this week, given his recent production.

Bust alert

Washington's offensive line injury became a problem for Peterson and he struggled to play a bigger game against Tampa Bay in Week 10. He had 19 runs for 68 yards and two catches for 1 yard against the Buccaneers. t easy. Washington is without guards Brandon Scherff (shoulder) and Shaun Lauvao (knee) for the season, and left striker Trent Williams (inch) is still missing. It will be difficult for Peterson to be successful against Houston, and the Texans have allowed only three touchdowns this year. In his last six games, Peterson has scored twice in the RPP twice, and is at best a starting option among the most modest in the 11th week.

Wide receivers

Sleepers

  • Tyrell Williams (vs. DEN): Williams ended his series of three straight games with a touchdown in Oakland's tenth week, scoring four catches for 46 yards on six targets. The goals were at their peak, but we're counting on Williams for his touchdown potential. He has scored in three of his last five home games, although one of those matches was held in London against the Titans in the seventh week. The Broncos have allocated 10 touchdowns to receivers this season, and I would expect Philip Rivers to take positions with Williams in the field. He is a No. 3 receiver with his head.
  • Doug Baldwin (vs. GB): The Packers Secondary is a disaster. Receivers of slot machines have performed well against Green Bay in recent weeks. Robert Woods, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola have all scored at least 12 PPR points in the last three games. I love Tyler Lockett, Seattle's best receivers, and it's worth starting in all the leagues. But Baldwin is a No. 3 catcher on the rise this week and could score his first touchdown of the season in this game.
  • Tre Quan Smith (vs. PHI): In two home games since Ted Ginn (knee) was injured, Smith caught five catches for 134 yards and three touchdowns on six targets, with at least one point each match. The Eagles' second team is screwed up, and we should see Drew Brees taking advantage over Smith this week, even with the arrival of Brandon Marshall. He is a Hail Mary player, but his success at home is well worth it in this game.
  • Anthony Miller (vs. MIN): Prior to Week 10 against Detroit, Miller has dominated all receivers in Chicago in the last three games with 20 goals and has scored at least nine PPR points in three of his last four outings, including two affected during the last three outings. this duration. Then came the clash with the Lions when Miller scored five catches for 122 yards and one touchdown on six targets. He has the best game Allen Robinson this week since Miller should avoid Xavier Rhodes. As such, Miller remains in play as No. 3 receiver in most leagues.
  • Josh Reynolds (vs. KC): As we said about Watkins, everyone is potentially at stake this week, considering the expectations of a match that scores high against the Chiefs. And with Cooper Kupp (ACL), Reynolds is moving towards a larger role. In Kupp's last week-end loss to Green Bay, Reynolds had three catches for 42 yards and two touchdowns on five targets. He will clearly be behind Brandin Cooks, Woods and Todd Gurley regarding the targets. But of the six games that Kupp was able to finish this year, he averaged 7.8 goals per game. I hope some of them will start going to Reynolds this week.

Bust alert

It sounds like a trap game for Robinson after his performance against the Lions in the tenth week. He took advantage of a secondary loss to Detroit with six catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets, which was by far his best game of the season. season. Now he faces the Vikings, and he can see a lot of Rhodes on the cover. Although the Bears are good at moving Robinson and playing it in the slot, keep in mind that Minnesota has allowed only six touchdowns to receivers this season. Robinson is still in play as Fantasy's # 3 receiver this week, but do not take him off guard just because of his production in the 10th week.

Tight end

Sleepers

  • Ricky Seals-Jones (vs. OAK): Seals-Jones played well in the 10th week in Kansas City with five catches for 51 yards on one target, and he has another favorable encounter in the 11th week against Oakland. The Raiders are in the top 5 Fantasy points allowed to squeeze the ends, so hopefully Seals-Jones will remain very involved. His nine targets against the Chiefs were tied for second place in the team with David Johnson, behind only Larry Fitzgerald (10). I like Seals-Jones as a streaming option this week.
  • Jeff Heuerman (at LAC): The last time we saw Heuerman, it was during the 9th week against Houston in the first match without Demaryius Thomas. He has 10 assists for 83 yards and one touchdown for 11 targets. And the Chargers have allowed a tight end to score in three of their last four games.
  • Gerald Everett (vs. KC): You can also put Tyler Higbee in the position as the Rams are looking for ways to replace Cooper Kupp (ACL). In the last two games we have found that the Rams tendons are more involved. During Week 9 in New Orleans, Everett captured 48 yards on five targets, while Higbee had 40 yards on four targets. Then, in Week 10 against Seattle, in the match where Kupp was injured, we saw both touchdowns, with Higbee catching three passes for 25 yards on three targets and Everett for two catches for 15 yards. I like Everett a little better than Higbee, but both are worth a look against the Chiefs during the 11th week.

Bust alert

At some point, Reed will return to the end zone this year again, but he is looking for his first touchdown since week 1 for the 11th week against the Texans. He also has only one double-digit PPR game in his last six outings, despite having at least six goals in three consecutive games. The Texans have only allowed one touchdown since Week 4 and it's hard to trust Reed before he starts playing at a constant level. It's at best a low-end starting option in most leagues this week.

Defense / Special Forces

Start them

Cardinals (vs. OAK) – 11.9 points projected

The Cardinals have a dream match against the Raiders this week. In the past four games, Oakland has scored six points or fewer on three occasions against Seattle, San Francisco and the Chargers. In all three games, the Raiders have allocated 18 sacks and the Cardinals have won at least four sacks in four of their last five games. I love the DST Cardinals as one of the three best Fantasy options of the 11th week.

Sleepers

  • Steelers (JAC): The Jaguars have allowed at least four sacks for three of their last five games, and have scored 18 points or less in three of their last four outings. The Steelers have been intercepted in two of their last three games, with nine sacks in that period.
  • Panthers (DET): Matthew Stafford has been sacked 16 times in his last two games against Minnesota and Chicago, and had two interceptions against the Bears. In the two games leading up to the 10th week in Pittsburgh, the Panthers had four interceptions against the Ravens and Buccaneers.
  • Giants (vs. TB): Tampa Bay has allowed an average of nearly three sacks per game for the season, and the Buccaneers have at least two interceptions in seven consecutive games. The Giants had two interceptions against the 49ers in the 10th week.

Sit Em

Titans (at IND) – 7.8 Projected Points

The DST Titans have been good for the last two games, but this should be a bad week for the Colts unit. The Titans had one interception, eight sacks and scored 24 points in Dallas and New England over the past two weeks. But this week against the Colts should be disappointing since Indianapolis has not allowed a sack since the fifth week and has only one turnover since week 6. The Colts have also scored at least 29 points in four straight games.

Kicker

Start them

Vinatieri likes to fight against the Titans. In his last five games against Tennessee, he has scored 12 of 13 goals, as well as 12 of 13 points. He has scored at least 10 Fantasy points on four of those outings and the Titans have allowed four kickers to score several times on the field this year.

Sleepers

  • Ryan Succop (at IND): The Colts are No. 2 Fantasy Points allowed to opposing kickers, and six kickers have scored several times on the field against Indianapolis this season.
  • Mike Badgley (vs. DEN): In three games with the Chargers, he's a perfect 5 out of 5 on goals and 9 out of 9 on extra points. Six kickers have scored several goals against Denver this season.
  • Phil Dawson (vs. OAK): Jason Sanders in Week 3 is the only kicker against Oakland with at least eight Fantasy points, and three kickers scored double digit Fantasy points against the Raiders this season.

Sit Em

Washington enters this game by allowing at least field placements against opposing kickers this year with only eight attempts out of eleven. Washington is also near the bottom of the league with 17 extra points, and no kicker has scored more than eight Fantasy points against Washington this season. Aldrick Rosas in week eight is the only goalscorer with many goals scored against Washington, and Fairbairn has scored eight Fantasy points or fewer in three of his last four outings.
