Fantasy Football Week 9: weeks off, waivers, exchanges and big questions from our experts

But we've seen a trend towards bigger trades, which have been changing listings in recent years, in the NFL, and even though the NBA has never been so popular, we're starting to see more trades that are upsetting the landscape. Of course, whether or not these exchanges decreased, the Fantasy players were going to scramble this week anyway. It's week 9. It's Bye-mageddon, with six teams waiting, which means you've probably already had to deal with huge holes in your alignment – I know I'm # 39; was. Add to that the imminent commercial deadlines for Fantasy leagues and it's a pivotal week.

Four or five weeks later, the stakes are enormous. I've asked Dave, Heath and Jamey Eisenberg six big questions that Fantasy players would be facing as the week approached. Here are their answers:

1. What is your best waiver collector for week 9?

• Jamey: Ryan Fitzpatrick. I like beard, you like beard – we all like beard. He scored at least 22 Fantasy points in four of the five games, and he's a fun guy in which to base, in fantasy and reality. He could easily be a No. 1 quarterback of week 9 and for the rest of the season.
• Dave: Fitzpatrick is my best bet if I need a quarter a week over the next four weeks. If I'm good with my quarterback situation then my goal will be to gather depth to handle the weeks off. Peyton Barber and DJ Moore were about as good in this regard before the trades, which means there is no addition to make this week.
• Heather: DJ Moore. I loved its increased use (22% target share) during week 8. If this goes on until week 9, it would be one of the 12 best options for me because of the excellent match against Tampa Bay and Moore's efficiency. Moore's 15.6 Y / R is outstanding and his 75% catch rate is the best of the team apart from Christian McCaffrey. I think Moore will be the best receiver of the Panthers.

2. Which players do you play bye?

• Jamey: Andy Dalton, Carlos Hyde, all Jaguars receivers and C.J. Uzomah.
• Dave: Almost all those who are not obvious need to start. This includes Andy Dalton, C.J. Uzomah, anyone in a Jaguar uniform not named Leonard Fournette, Evan Engram, Sterling Shepard and the Eagles running back. Certainly, I do not want to to cut one of these players, but I have to do what I have to do if I need players who will actually play this Sunday. On the other hand, if the changes of the 9th week do not bother me, you should believe that I will take advantage of the other players' benefits and that I will supply my bench with guys cut off.
• Heather: Any Jaguar besides Fournette. Shepard and Engram are both releasable, but I do not let them go.

3. Who is your best cheap buyer candidate?

• Jamey: The & # 39; Veon Bell. I'm stubborn, what can I say? I'm still waiting for it to make the difference for fantasy owners in the playoffs.
• Dave: I hope the owner of Rob Gronkowski in my league is tired of looking at his weak numbers. The best is yet to come for him. I will try to package my current opponent with a bench player for him in many of my leagues.
• Heather: I believe in Corey Davis and he is almost free. After playing the game in the 9th week against the Cowboys, he faces the Patriots, Colts, Texans and Jets. I expect him to be one of the top 20 recipients during this time.

4. What is your best selling candidate?

• Jamey: Marlon Mack. He has been great in the last two games and the Colts offensive line plays very well, with Andrew Luck. But he's still dealing with some kind of injury, and the Colts have a break in the 9th week, then face Jacksonville twice and Tennessee will be three of their next four games. Get something excellent in return, but there is someone to sell as high as you can.
• Dave: James White continues to score touchdowns – maybe that's why Gronk is not his usual Gronk-esque. Sony Michel will be back soon and White will eventually decline. There are hungry teams that could pay too much for White, so if I have enough depth, I'll see what I can get for White.
  
• Heather: I would try to capitalize on Tarik Cohen's long take of last week. Cohen will always be a good second at the low end, but his contacts are troubling. He only touched the ball six times last week against the Jets and played only two games with more than 12 touchdowns.

5. What is your level of anxiety for Gronkowski?

• Jamey: I am preoccupied. But I start it again every week. And I would try to trade for him cheaply if I needed a tight ass. He will score goals, probably in clusters, and he is still someone who has the potential to go forward.
• Dave: If I try to trade for him, my level of concern is obviously not very high. He had eight goals against the Bills Monday and at least seven goals in three of his last four games. He will end up being a monster – the game against Green Bay is not bad for him.
• Heather: I do not know how to answer that. I do not think there is much chance that it will be as good as Travis Kelce or Zach Ertz for the rest of the way. But I would not consider selling it at low altitude or putting it on the bench. So, I'm not really worried, I'm just resigned.

6. What are your expectations for the offense of Buccaneers?

• Jamey: See Weeks 1, 2 and 3 for a good indication of what this passing game might be. Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson and Chris Godwin all played well, and Barber is now boosted by injured Ronald Jones (hamstring). It will be fun with the return of Fitzpatrick.
• Dave: Pretty much what it was earlier this year: a lot of passages. Fitzpatrick should not be as subject to turn-over or as inaccurate as Winston and the Bucs' defense will give up a lot of points and force Tampa Bay to throw more than she probably would like. His return helps all the recipients of the Bucs. Long live the beard!
• Heather: Fitzmagic, high thief. What else? In all seriousness, it could go both ways. The volume should be excellent and the recipients should have more opportunities, but I would not be surprised at all that Jameis Winston gets another shot in a few weeks because Fitzpatrick made three choices in the first half.
