Fantasy Football What we learned in the 9th week of the NFL

Another week, another crazy amount of NFL stock is in the books and, as we always do, defeat everything Fantasy Football has done last week!

Week 9 was marked by one of the most significant games of the week we expected and many surprises. We will come to the players who appeared on the fantasy radar, but there were six teams on a bye. In addition, many offenses worked exactly as we thought. Some Fantasy Football takeaways are not as long as little has changed. Let's go to work!

Football AFC East

New England Patriots – Victory against Green Bay Packers, 31-17

It may sound weird to say, but Tom Brady has been a bit disappointing for fantasy in recent weeks. He has thrown eight touchdowns in the last five games, which is not what you would expect in a quarter. If you could negotiate an agreement for Brady on the value of the name, I would not be at all opposed to that. James White is a very good back, especially in this system. Even when Sony Michel comes back, White is always worth it. It was good to see the Josh Gordon truth partying as he had traveled over 100 yards and had scored a long bomb. The attack may pick up a bit more for Brady when Rob Gronkowski returns from an injury.

Buffalo Bills – Defeat Chicago Bears, 41-9

As expected, the Bills were destroyed against the Bears. Nathan Peterman is a terrible quarterback who crushes all the offenses he commits. Buffalo is such a mess that even LeSean McCoy can not even be used comfortably.

Miami Dolphins – Victory against the New York Jets, 13-6

If you need to look for the definition of an ugly football match, watch the movie of it. It had no ground touch and four interceptions, but the real story is this: the Kenyan Drake continues to be unusable in fantasy. It feels good to be successful in a big room, but if you want to bet on its three litters and four receptions while Frank Gore receives 20 (!), Be my guest. Drake will usually be at the wrong end of the variance. I had hoped that Danny Amendola and DeVante Parker had both emerged as starting options, but Brock Osweiler had other ideas. The Dolphins attack is almost totally to be avoided and it is probably best not to be dragged by big games.

New York Jets – Loss of Miami Dolphins, 13-6

The Jets might need to consider suspending Sam Darnold for the moment. It is nothing for him, but the offensive around him is so much struggling, there is an argument to make that does not favor him at all. Four more interceptions today and the offense has given nothing. If you have not taken Elijah McGuire yet, he seems to be able to bring some juice. In his first game, he saw 10 hits and was more handsome at the passing game. Also in his favor, Isaiah Crowell played two dreadful games. McGuire has the opportunity to do that and we'll see if he gets more work.
