FedEx will add 1,000 electric vehicles to its US fleet

On Tuesday, it announced that it would expand its fleet to include 1,000 Chanje V8100 electric vehicles, purchase 100 vehicles from Chanje Energy Inc. and lease 900 additional vehicles to Ryder System Inc. manufactured in Hangzhou, China. China, and can travel more than 150 km with a full charge. The company hopes to save 2,000 gallons of fuel while avoiding 20 tonnes of emissions per vehicle per year. FedEx shares were not yet active prior to commercialization, but fell 9% in 2018, while shares in the S & P 500
