Marvel Studios' president, Kevin Feige, recently spoke about Stan Lee, the man who helped create the characters that he controls on the big screen.

Lee died earlier in November, after battling leukemia at the age of 95. In his absence, he left behind a legendary legend of iconic characters and inspiring messages. Lee's impact on the world is felt from afar, which Feige will always remember with affection.

"He was very kind to me, including what was my last conversation with him about two weeks before he died," Feige told EW. "I went to his house to see him, and he remembered those cameos, we were talking about what was going to happen, always looking towards the future."

Lee and Feige have worked together many times, especially if the co-creator of so many Marvel characters would appear in their respective movies for their beloved cameos. This conversation was different, however.

"Did he know his time was running out, I do not know," Feige said. "In hindsight, he was slightly more nostalgic than I had ever seen, he spoke of the past more than I had ever heard of the past. On a certain level, he knew it.When I sat near his chair At our last meeting, his first sentence was: "I know you want me to play in the next movie, but I have to m stick to cameos. You will have to leave the main roles to the other actors. I'm sorry. "

Lee, as with all events, responded well to every cameo opportunity that Marvel Studios brought him. More recently, he appeared in Ant-Man and the wasphaving his car reduced before his eyes.

"He would show up at the movie board game for anything," Feige said. "But one thing he would always do is try to add more lines." He was still joking – but not really – wanting more lines, though he understands why we could not.

"God presumes, he would start eclipsing the hero," Feige added. "It was something that a character like Stan Lee could easily do."
