Whatever the outcome, it seems unlikely that banners such as Amazon, Hulu and Netflix mix, these The last three years have been devoted to original content (sometimes with battles against a subscribed television), and perhaps Criterion, at the very least, will find a special place on WarnerMedia's future streaming service, which should be launched in 2019.

Double, double, hard work and difficulty
If you are a certain age and looking for a deep nostalgic journey, Hulu has you covered with a Mary Kate and Ashley spouse who deserves to be revisited if you are both a child of the 90s and a fan of Cloris Leachman, who played the evil witch grandmother in the center of the film. As with most old media, some parts of the movie have aged better than others, but Olsen 's magic remains eternal. (On Hulu.)

The Blair Witch Project (1999)
Ah, yes, the classic edifying account of what happens when three students sit in the woods to investigate local legends. Although this may not count as a witch movie in the typical meaning, it would be wrong to leave Blair Witch out of our selections – especially considering its terrifying end, which makes the whole race worth it. The witch of love
Written, directed and produced by Anna Biller In 2016, this thriller is a laborious ode to the Technicolor cinema of the 1960s, from the cinematography of the time to the wardrobe of mods. The stars of the movie Samantha Robinson like Elaine, a witch who travels to northern California in search of a new life – and a new love – after the death of her husband. Biller plays intelligently with gender norms in The witch of love, building a horror story with a welcome feminist message. (On Amazon Prime.)

L & # 39; agreement
It may be the most thirsty warlock movie of all time – and if it does not, that's it. Although it does not have much in terms of plot, this supernatural thriller offers a treasure trove to compensate for its lack of purpose: a young (more) Sebastian Stan and Taylor Kitsch, as good as Chace Crawford, just in front of his Gossip Girl beginning. Come for heated swimming matches; stay for the special effects dated and the wooden dialogue. (On Netflix.)

The witch
Robert Eggers' ominous, first feature-length feature film about a terrified Puritan family in 1630, New England was the 2015 prestige horror film, a blockbuster carefully manufactured and presented to the masses by nu-author A24 nifflers. The film has also served as a meeting place for the queen of the scream that currently reigns Anya Taylor-Joy, who played Thomasin, a teenager who may or may not be the reason why her family is cursed. Practical magic
In this crisp autumn leaf of New England from a movie, Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock plays a pair of witch sisters battling a family curse that condemns any man they fall in love with to an untimely death. There is a perfect autumnal atmosphere of Massachusetts, more Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest like a pair of aunts who like to sneer at midnight margaritas. (On HBOGo.)
