FIRST ALERT: Heavy rains arriving Wednesday

SAN ANTONIO – With heavy rainfall in our forecasts, we are already looking forward to the next weekend, when the weather will be sunny and warm.

But we have to come to the fore this week.

Tuesday remained relatively cold and dry, preventing more rain from reaching the ground.

On Wednesday, the remnants of Hurricane Willa will be coming from western Mexico, which means heavy rainfall in South Texas. We will dry up and have a nice weekend.

According to KENS meteorologist 5, Bill Taylor, there is a 100% chance that it will rain on Wednesday. Bexar County will likely see a lot of rain, but not enough to worry about flooding.

At this time, we may be clear when the sun returns and we may have finished with heavy rains in the near future.
