Hawaiian Airlines will add Boston to its route, launching a non-stop service to Honolulu on a route the carrier will become the longest regularly scheduled national road in the USA.
Flights to Honolulu (HNL) will begin on April 4, when Hawaiian "turned to offer a vacation to New England, exhausted by the winter" tropical climate of Hawaii. The carrier will offer five flights per week on Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft, including extended business class seats.

"At 5,095 miles, the Hawaiian BOS-HNL route becomes the longest regularly scheduled national route in US history," the airline adds. The route will exceed the current record holder, the existing Hawaiian New York JFK-Honolulu route.
The flight time from Boston is indicated at 11 am, 40 minutes to the west. The return is 10 hours, 15 minutes. Links to other Hawaiian islands are possible via the Hawaiian hub in Honolulu.
For Hawaiian, Boston becomes the second city of the airline along the east coast of the United States. He is already flying from New York JFK. The only other non-stop flights currently connecting the East Coast to Hawaii are United (from Newark and Washington Dulles) and Delta (from Atlanta).
"There is nowhere on earth like in Hawaii, and we are getting closer to our islands than ever before from Boston with nonstop service," said Peter Ingram, CEO of Hawaiian Airlines, in a statement announcing the service.
