KeVaughn Allen added 13 points to the Gators (3-2), who arrived in the Bahamas with an offense that had not given the results expected by coach Mike White. They then scored 60 points in Oklahoma's first-round defeat, leaving White to say that trust was a problem for his team.

Things went smoothly against the cardinal (2-3). Florida shot 52%, including 7 of 15 3 points.

The Gators took things in hand as soon as the Stanford offensive was sprayed. Florida led 32-13 at the break, the lowest point in half a point under their fourth-year coach.

Cormac Ryan scored 12 points for Stanford, which earned him 5 throws out of 23 with 13 turnovers in the first half who basically decided to do it.

Virginia shot 50% in the second half.

Ty Jerome added 15 points for Virginia and Kyle Guy had 14.

Josh Cunningham led Dayton (4-1) with 15 points. The Flyers shot 55% in the second half and remained within reach each time the Cavaliers threatened to dig the two-digit gap.

The 3-point shooting display of D & # 39; Mitrik Trice broke a Battle 4 Atlantis tournament record and nearly equaled another.

Trice scored seven goals to three in the 78-58 win over Oklahoma, Wisconsin, number 25, in Thursday's semifinal. That broke the previous record of six matches in a match, set by UConn's Shabazz Napier in the first edition in November 2011.

Michael Gbinije of Syracuse tied that mark against Charlotte in November 2015.

Trice started with 7 of 7, but he missed with about 6 minutes to finish at 7 of 8, which prevented him from becoming the third player to get 100% behind the arc with at least five attempts.

Not bad for a guy who missed his three points in Wednesday's first-round win over Stanford, although Trice said, "It was just a day that the shot went off."
