A Florida K9 officer is being hailed as a hero after helping a suspect who had fled a traffic stop by biting him.
K9 Shep, of the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, was with MP Nick Carmack on Tuesday while he was trying to arrest a vehicle allegedly stolen, Fox reported. The authorities said the driver of the vehicle had fled the officer, had gone down the aisle and, with the passenger, had fled on foot.

Carmack then deployed Shep, who could be seen jumping a fence and chasing a suspect in a bright pink shirt.
"Bring it, Shep! Get it, Shep!" Carmack shouts at the puppy, whose teeth are around the suspect.

The suspect falls to the ground and Shep listens to his deputy's orders to "hold him back" as Carmack prepares to handcuff the man.
Shep finally gives in and gets a "good boy" from his handler while he examines the scene.
The sheriff's office said the second suspect who had fled the vehicle was arrested by deputies Rob Wilkins and K9 Knox.
The two suspects were arrested and charged with car theft, fleeing to escape criminal wrongdoing. Police said they were also accused of neglecting the children because there was a child that the suspects had left in the car from where they had fled.
