HENDERSON, Ky. – It's time to think about protecting yourself before the flu virus really gets around this year.

The Henderson County Health Department currently has the flu shot available for adults.

According to a press release, vaccinations without appointments are available from 8:30 to 15:30. From Monday to Friday.

Influenza vaccine in children should be available the week of September 24th.

Patients will need to bring their medical cards, insurance cards or health insurance cards for billing purposes.
