An astronaut shared a breathtaking video of the perilous journey of a space ship from Earth to the dark space of space, from its unique perspective inside the International Space Station.

The video timelapse, taken by German astronaut and commander of the ISS Alexander Gerst, shows the Russian cargo spacecraft Progress MS-10 when it was launched in Baikonur, Kazakhstan on November 26th.
