LAGUNITAS, California (KGO) –
According to fire officials, a 40-acre wildfire that burned in a park in Marin County on Monday night prompted evacuation orders.
The fire is burning in the Samuel P. Taylor State Park in a difficult access area for firefighters. At least 20 to 30 structures are threatened.
An evacuation order is in place for Mountain King Road, Portola Avenue and Alamo until Barranca, Marin County firefighters have tweeted.

The smoke in the communities of San Geronimo and Fairfax could be strong due to the fire.
