Former Clemson running back, C.J. Fuller, is dead. A high school official from Easley, where Fuller attended high school, confirmed the news at News and observer Wednesday evening.
Fuller played 35 games with Clemson from 2015 to 2017. He has accumulated 599 yards and four touchdowns during his university career. He was a member of the Clemson National Championship Team in 2016, winning three wins to win the title against Alabama.
Fuller opened the 2017 season as Clemson started running but only started three games. He finished the season with 217 yards and three touchdowns.
Fuller was expected to graduate from Clemson in May and plan to move to another school for his last year of eligibility, but he was arrested in late March for armed robbery and possession.
