Look who’s back! Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, resumed her royal duties Tuesday, marking an end to her maternity leave following the birth of her third child, Prince Louis.
The duchess, 36, made a solo visit to London’s Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden, which gives inner city kids a chance to learn about nature and the environment.
The former Kate Middleton kept her look casual as she greeted children and teachers, sporting a rain jacket, light brown skinny jeans and her favorite pair of leather riding boots.
At one point, the royal mother joined some children for a special story time session.
She even did a bit of gardening with some adorable tots from St. Augustine’s Primary School.
The Duchess of Cambridge has attended only a handful of outings since the birth of Prince Louis on April 23.
She introduced the newborn to the world on his birthday as she and husband Prince William left the famed Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London.
On May 19, she attended the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex along with her two eldest children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
In June, she was on hand during the Trooping the Colour parade, an annual event that celebrates the Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday.
The duchess was also spotted at a polo tournament in June, supporting Prince William as he competed for charity. It was more of an informal day out than an official royal appearance.
In July, she stepped out once more for the christening of Prince Louis.
The following week, she was spotted at Wimbledon with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and later with Prince William.
And finally, many anticipate the Duchess of Cambridge and family will attend the wedding of her cousin-in-law, Princess Eugenie, next Friday, Oct. 12.
It’s delightful to see the duchess out and about once more!
