FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – MPs responded to an information that a robbery allegedly took place in a McDonald's restaurant located in the 2800 block of Keith Bridge Road shortly after 5 am Saturday.

Upon arrival, they found that employees had been forced into the fast food icehouse. Employees said that a black man with a handgun had asked them for money and had ordered them to enter the cooler.

After the shooter ran away, the employees fled from the back of the restaurant and appointed a deputy on leave at a nearby business.

A preliminary investigation by MPs indicates that the suspect is described as a black man dressed in black clothes. He was stopped by a stranger in a vehicle shortly after the flight.

NCOs from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Major Crime Unit and Uniformed NCOs continue their investigation.

No injuries were reported.
