Parker is best known for his role on NBC soap opera Shawn Brady, Days of Our Lives. He played in the show between 1983 and 2008.

His final scenario of the daytime television series revealed that Shawn had given his son, Bo, an oxygen mask after an airplane disaster.

This was one of the most shocking scenarios to thrill the series and give a dramatic outcome to someone who appeared there for nearly 25 years.
