Frank Parker dies: Days of Our Lives actor who played Shawn Brady Dead

Days of our lives Actor Frank Parker, who played Shawn Brady on the NBC soap opera for nearly a quarter of a century, died of complications from Parkinson's disease and dementia., our partner site, Deadline, reports. He was 79 years old.

Parker did his Days debuted as Patriarch Brady in 1983 and played the role (opposite Peggy McCay) until his retirement in 2008. In the series, Shawn died in a plane disaster after to have abandoned his oxygen mask to save his son Bo.
