Nancy Sinatra Sr., the first wife of the legendary Rat Pack crooner Frank Sinatra and mother of her three children, passed away on Friday. She was 101 years old.
Her eldest daughter, Nancy Sinatra Jr., confirmed the news on Twitter by writing, "My mother died peacefully tonight at the age of 101 years. She was a blessing and the light of my life. ["
On her website, Nancy Jr. revealed that her mother died at 6:02 pm
" This may be the saddest post I've ever had to write ", said Nancy Jr. "She fought to stay on this earth but time was right for her."
