Bruce Irvin was quick to find a new home.
The Falcons announced Wednesday that they have signed a one – year contract with former linebackers of the Raiders and Seahawks.

"We know exactly how Bruce will fit into our field team and, just as importantly, into our locker room," said Falcons coach Dann Quinn. "He will add to our rotation along the defensive line, while increasing our speed of passage, he knows our plan and our strengths, so we are eager to get him into the field as quickly as possible."
Irvin was eliminated by Oakland last week after playing nine goals for the Raiders in their Thursday loss to the 49ers. It is not surprising that he had close ties with Falcons coach Dan Quinn, the Seahawks' defensive coordinator from 2013 to 14 before arriving in Atlanta.

Irvin, 31, was selected by the Seahawks as one of the top 15 picks in the 2012 draft. He then signed a four-year, $ 37 million contract with the Raiders in March 2016, including $ 19 million guaranteed.
He has three sacks this season after posting eight sacks from last season, a career high.
The Falcons (4-4) are supposed to visit the Browns (2-6-1) at 13:00. And Sunday.
