Starbucks has announced its intention to be significantly greener with a plan to design, build and operate 10,000 "Greener Stores" around the world by 2025.

Starbucks started its Happy Hour program in 2010. At the beginning of the year, the retailer closed its purchase program, got a free Happy Hour Frappuccino, but brought back Happy Hour a few months later, incorporating the loyalty program.

Happy Hour offers take place at different times and may vary, so the Rewards program helps customers know when they are happening.
