The Iron Fist of Marvel Season 2 continues the heroic journey of K-One-Mon's live weapon. In March 2017, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) became the fourth and last defender of Netflix in the film world of Marvel. However, the Immortal Iron Fist was not welcomed with open arms, either in his own show or by fans in real life. Since the critical debut of the kung fu hero in his own series, Iron Fist has appeared in The defenders and in Luke Cage Season 2, and little by little, it's a path to redemption for Danny Rand.

Iron Fist assumes greater responsibility in Season 2. Doing his home in Chinatown, he is now the protector of New York City, although he does not do it alone. He is accompanied by his most important friends and allies, including his girlfriend Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick), who teamed up with Detective Misty Knight (Simone Bissick) as the dragon girls and Ward Meachum (Tom Pelphrey), the multinational of Danny. Rand Enterprises. The billionaire martial artist also has several threats to face, such as Davos aka the steel snake (Sacha Dhawan), Joy Meachum (Jessica Stroup) and the typhoid Mary Walker (Alice Eve). The threat of the hand also continues to weigh on Iron Fist despite the fact that the defenders won a decisive victory against them last summer.

The new season, supervised by the new showrunner Raven Metzner (Sleepy Hollow), also promises to enhance kung-fu's action and further immerse in Danny's training at K-one-Mon, describing his conflict with Davos on which one of them was finally going to win the power of the Living Weapon. The secrets are sure to be revealed, including one in the trailer of Season 2 when Danny says "I did not ask for the iron fist!" season 2 could thwart the origin of Danny. With the return of Iron Fist on us, let's go back to the road that Danny Rand has traveled in the MCU until now:

Deception Iron Fist Season

Iron fist Season 1 was the first disappointment of the Marvel Netflix series, at least from a critical point of view and with the fans, although the series was a success and that it recorded high scores for the streaming service. Showrunner season Scott Buck avoids luscious kung-fu actions that fans have been hoping for; Instead, focusing on a twisted and overcooked story of corporate espionage while The Hand was trying to assert control over Rand Enterprises. The fight scenes of Season 1 were also sadly disappointing. One of the biggest problems of Season 1 was that Finn Jones had not had enough time to learn the complex choreography needed to be credible as one of the best hand-to-hand combat fighters. MCU.

However, Season 1 did tell the story of Danny Rand. Orphaned at the age of 10 when a plane carrying Danny and his parents crashed into the Himalayas, the billionaire grew up in the mystical city of Kun-Lun. After spending 15 years training kung fu and then gaining the magic power of the Iron Fist, Danny abandoned his role as protector of K-one-Mon and returned to New York.

Danny was not warmly welcomed. Ward and Joy Meachum, who ran Rand Enterprises publicly, institutionalized Danny, while the Main took action against their nemesis. Danny was finally reinstated as the majority owner of his business, but he quickly proved he did not have the business acumen to be an effective leader. Danny then learned that The Hand had long ago infiltrated Rand Enterprises and that Harold Meachum (David Wenham), the business partner of Danny's father, was still alive. Harold died of cancer in 2004 but was resurrected by hand and controlled Rand from the shadows, handling his son Ward as his representative.

However, Danny met Colleen Wing, a kung-fu instructor who would become his romantic partner and in the fight against crime. Danny then learned that Colleen had been raised by the hand and that her instructor was Bakuto (Ramon Rodriguez), one of the leaders of the evil organization, which led the couple to part for a while . Danny's best friend from K-one-Lun, Davos, also appeared in New York and faced Iron Fist. Davos was defeated but eventually recruited Joy Meachum to his side against Danny. Eventually, Danny and Colleen defeated the evil that plagued Rand Enterprises and Ward killed his father and claimed control of the company while Bakuto was also apparently killed. His company made the decision, Danny then decided to return to Kun-Lun with Colleen, to discover that the ancient city had completely disappeared from this dimensional plan.

As a character, Danny was hard to find for fans. He was fast, stubborn and irrational. Even Colleen, the person closest to him, often found him frustrating and immature. Still, there was definitely room to grow, and by the time he realized that his negligence was making K-one-Lun disappear, Danny began to take steps to grow up and become the hero that he was supposed to be.
