PKim Porter's funeral seemed to have taken place in the hours leading up to the scheduled date of her home service in the hometown of the model and actress in Georgia on Saturday. More details about the ceremony were revealed in the preparation, including participants such as Faith Evans, who was asked to perform at the funeral.

And though it was a safe bet that Faith and Porter would have at least crossed paths and would have been at best known, the Grammy Award-winning singer may not have been the first person that his fans could have imagined at the funeral. After all, according to some information, Faith was not even present at Porter's dark celebration of life in California last Sunday. But once TMZ announced why Sean "Diddy" Combs – who described himself and Porter as "soul mates" – chose Faith to play, it suddenly took a lot more meaningless.

"Faith has a unique relationship with Diddy," the celebrity news site wrote Thursday. "When Biggie died, Diddy was a source of comfort for Faith … now she's making the gesture."

Faith was also signed to Diddy's Bad Boy Records after the death of her husband, Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace, aka Biggie Smalls. This loss was also devastating for Diddy, who still would not have declared whether he would pronounce the eulogy at Porter's funeral, how "helpless" he was.

Porter's family remembered her as "the epitome of kindness and grace," according to a statement released to the Associated Press on Friday:

"God broke the mold when he created Kim. There really was no other woman like her. Although her life on earth was far too short, she lived a life full of meaning and meaning. She was a loving mother and a devoted friend. She was the incarnation of kindness and grace. She did not meet anyone she did not touch. Kim was the kind of woman who had changed her life for the better. She will be remembered forever and she will be missed by many. As a family, we promise to honor it every day of our lives. Porter, 47, died suddenly on November 15. According to preliminary information, she may have been suffering from pneumonia and flu-like symptoms a few days before her death. However, an autopsy performed last weekend revealed no cause of death, which was "postponed pending further testing". An official determination of the cause of Porter's death "could take weeks".

Porter's grandmother gave a glimpse of what had happened a few days before her death.

"She told me that she was feeling better and that the doctor had gone to her home and that he had given her an antibiotic," Lila Mae Star was quoted as saying last weekend. a recent conversation with his granddaughter.

His eldest son, Quincy, is described in part as "broken."

Porter's death caused a shockwave on social media and particularly affected Diddy fans, who had three biological children together. The couple raised Quincy together.

Bishop T.D. Jakes, leader of the ceremony in Columbus, Georgia, where Porter grew up and where his mother is buried, is part of the details of the burial. A funeral home owned by Black organized the ceremony at the Cascade Hills Church starting Saturday at 11 am.

While Diddy was considering pronouncing the eulogy, his sadness was manifest through a series of social media publications, one of which described the extent of his relationship with Porter.

"These last three days, I was trying to get out of this nightmare. But I do not know what I'm going to do without you baby. I miss you so much, "he wrote on Instagram. "Today, I will pay tribute to you, I will try to find the words to explain our inexplicable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soul mates. "
