When Game of thronesThe episode of Season 6 "The Bastards Battle" debuted in 2016 and achieved a perfect 10/10 rating on IMDb. And although his score has been reduced to 9.9, he is still considered by some to be the biggest televised episode of all time.
However, it seems that this can change once Game of thrones season 8 is broadcast in 2019. A cover story released Thursday by Weekly entertainment reveals that a final clash between living and dead will supposedly leave the bastards battle in the dust.
"The drama constructs a confrontation with the army of the dead which should be the most sustained action sequence ever made for television or film", EW reports on an episode directed by the veteran "The Battle of the Bastards" Miguel Sapochnik.
The outdoor scenes filmed on the Winterfell set required 55 shooting nights, twice as long as the 25-day shoot for Battle of Bastards. Game of thrones studio for weeks after.
"It's brutal," said Peter Dinklage, aka Tyrion Lannister, to EW fights. "The bastards battle looks like a theme park."
Dinklage had already commented on the case at the premiere of his film in September I think we are alone now when a reporter asked him if the bastards battle could possibly be overcome. "Oh my god, and then some," he replied. "You are for that. Really."
